Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced remote casting director to join our creative team, which specializes in high-volume advertising content production. This role involves discovering and securing talent for multiple concurrent marketing campaigns across various media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead virtual casting sessions and callbacks for commercial advertising projects, managing talent evaluation through video conferencing platforms

• Develop and maintain a diverse digital talent database, ensuring representation across demographics

• Collaborate remotely with creative team, producers, and clients to understand project requirements and translate them into casting decisions

• Source and screen talent submissions through digital platforms, social media, and talent agencies

• Coordinate with talent agencies and representatives to negotiate rates and availability

• Manage virtual audition scheduling and technological requirements

• Create and distribute detailed breakdowns for upcoming projects

• Oversee digital portfolio management and talent-tracking systems

• Provide comprehensive casting packages including talent reels, headshots, and availability matrices

• Ensure compliance with union regulations and advertising industry standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of casting experience, with at least 2 years focused on marketing campaigns

• Proven track record of successful remote casting operations

• Strong understanding of current advertising trends and talent requirements

• Excellent knowledge of talent agencies, union regulations, and industry standards

• Superior project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficiency in virtual casting platforms and video conferencing software

• Strong network within the talent community

• Experience with digital portfolio management systems

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
